Anyone else apply to the University of Maryland- College Park? Anyone familiar with their EDMS program?

I applied also but to a different program. Haven't heard a peep!

I applied to their EDHD program (Human Development) and got an email from my POI inviting me to their recruitment weekend (2/28-3/1) today (1/21). She gave me no information about what to expect or whether any of it is paid for by the department. I'm guessing other invites will be going out soon since today was technically a holiday?

I got the same email on Friday from my POI in the EDHD program, trying to figure out the most tactful way to ask if this visit is a paid one...

I just emailed my POI back because I had a bunch of questions (and it conflicts with another school's weekend which I won't find out if I'm invited to until later this week). She said it is paid, and you stay with a graduate student. I was concerned about it but am definitely planning on going now though!
