awright228
I visited BU today and liked it a lot more than I expected to. Definitely going to make my decision a lot harder. Question- people who applied to BC- how long did it take you to hear? I applied for the early deadline I think and I got my official BC acceptance in the mail today w/ funding...I am so happy and humbled. Good luck to all BC ppl! MMCKNIG1
What factors are people considering in order to make their decision on BU by Friday? I am really struggling with making this decision so soon and before I have heard from many of the other programs I applied to.
MSDubbs
What factors are people considering in order to make their decision on BU by Friday? I am really struggling with making this decision so soon and before I have heard from many of the other programs I applied to. Since BU cannot extend their deadline, I just decided to send in the deposit. It's one of my top choices, but I haven't yet been able to visit some of my other schools and also am waiting to hear back from others. What are you thinking you'll end up doing? It's such a hard decision! Because it is likely I'll end up wanting to go there regardless of my other schools' decisions, I figure it's worth putting down the deposit to save my spot. I'll regret that less in the end than be waiting on another school, not get in, and wish I still had BU as an option. Where else are you applying? Just price for me....BU offered me $0 and BC offered me $20k, so BU got eliminated and BC stands for three more weeks unless another school comes in and that's cheaper! I am really struggling with making this decision so soon and before I have heard from many of the other programs I applied to. I have decided that I won't be attending. I still haven't heard back from most of my schools, but possible funding looks much more promising at another program that I've been recently accepted into, versus the funding possibilities at BU. Good luck with your decision!

Thus far, I have also gotten accepted to the University of Pennsylvania. I think I am leaning more towards Penn since they gave me a scholarship and BU didn't offer me any money. However, the scholarship from Penn only brings tuition down to BU's price. I keep going back and forth about what I want to do. Paying $200 dollars isn't exactly something I can financially swing at the moment unless I'm fairly confident I want to go there. I am still waiting to hear from Washington University in St. Louis, Temple University, and the University of Michigan.
somuchintheair
I found out on Thursday that I was accepted by UCLA. Since I already live in LA and the program is $20,000 less, I opted to go to UCLA over BU. It was a hard decision, but I know it was the right one in the end. Have fun everyone who is going to BU! Sarah Dyer
I just got an email saying I was accepted to BC! My boyfriend lives in Boston so I would love to go here if they offered my money. It said there was an info packet to come, is this where you got funding information?

kmed
Going to Boston tomorrow and for the rest of the weekend to check out the campus! Flying in from SoCal. Let me know if any of you want to meet up! I'd love to talk to a prospective BU MSW student to get some insight to facilitate my decision ( as I currently cannot make up my mind -__-)

I am also from california and am struggling with the decision of going to BU. It's the only school I applied to so if I don't go I'll continue working.
