indigoconcord Posted February 21, 2013 Share Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) ive seen much conflicting info on when i might hear from certain programs. on this thread, lets ONLY post straight, direct information that we know first-hand from the programs we've applied to - no hearsay please! this is for the sake of future applicants, as we will not much benefit from knowing after the fact. of course, this is relative to the 2013 application cycle. future applicants, be aware that these are rough timelines and are no way definitive, as some programs are fluid and might have varied timelines from year to year. that being said, if the application deadline is the same, chances are these timelines will give you a relatively accurate idea of when to expect some sort of communication and of which schools you will be required to interview with. ADD NEW PROGRAMS TO THE LIST. ONLY ADD A DUPLICATE PROGRAM IF YOUR TIMELINE WAS NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT OR IF YOU APPLIED TO A SEPARATE DISTINCTION in alphabetical order, to be updated when known - Northwestern application deadline - FEBRUARY 1st request for interview - FEBRUARY 12th on-site interview - MARCH 1st/2nd acceptance - ? rejection - ?Rutgers - PAINTING application deadline - FEBRUARY 1st acceptance - ? rejection - ? UCLA - PAINTING application deadline - JANUARY 9th acceptance - ? rejection - ? The University of Chicago application deadline - DECEMBER 15th request for interview - JANUARY 14th on-site interview - FEBRUARY 12th/13th acceptance - ? rejection - ?USC application deadline - FEBRUARY 1st acceptance - ? rejection - ?Yale - PAINTING application deadline - JANUARY 2nd request for interview - FEBRUARY 1st/2nd rejection - FEBRUARY 1st/2ndADD YOUR PROGRAMS IF THEYRE NOT HERE YET, UPDATE WHEN KNOWN!! Results go back to 2008 in some instances. its also worth mentioning that those results can be misleading or non-existent. for instance, UofC's last "accepted" entry is from Feb 3rd, 2010 via email... their interviews didnt happen until a week and a half after that this year. northwestern doesnt have a single "accepted" entry. neither does usc.
