Has ANYONE gotten into NYU yet? I've seen so many rejections, which is weird to see before acceptances!

I know a few people have been accepted to NYU. However, adcoms often do things in ways we don't understand. I'm sure they have a reason for doing it like they are.

Good luck!

I guess my only real concern is that IF for some reason I am admitted, the turn-around for the scholarship applications will be so quick, as they are due this Friday! Is anyone else having that same issue?

Aren't you allowed to apply for the scholarships before getting a decision?

I ran into the issue of needing an NYU ID number.

I wonder if the decisions have been divided between in-field and out-of-field applicants? If anyone that has received a decision from NYU is reading this, would you mind posting whether or not you were an in or out-of-field applicant?

looks like more rejections came out today.

still waiting...(not so patiently hahaha)

I am literally going insane. I need to focus on my exams and I just cannot take my eyes off of my email.

Hey everyone! I was admitted, I am an out-of-field student. Anyone have any idea on how good/bad NYU's rep is on funding???

I have the log-in but I guess we have to wait until NYU messages us that the financial aid information is available.

I'm kind of concerneddddd =(

Same! I roughly calculated that it'll be around 100k for me to attend since I need the pre-reqs too :/

Hey, did you get financial aid info about NYU yet??? I've been logging into the NYU Albert student info thing literally every day and it just has the school year but the link isn't live. It says that "financial aid info isn't available" and that "If the link isn't live, that means that it isn't available yet..." Does it say the same for you or does that mean I didn't get anyyyy aid? haha, just being paranoid, NYU is the only place I got into so far, everything else was waitlisted.

I got into NYU too and have the same "There is no financial aid information found" message in my Albert account. I emailed graduate admissions and they sent me a canned email about filling out the FAFSA form. Unfortunately I filled it out after the February 1 deadline and am worried I won't get any financial aid =/

Same, their deadline is ridiculously early! There's nothing in my Albert account at the moment and the only email I've received is the one about the open house. They haven't even replied to my email about financial aid yet.

Yeahh, I filled it in before my acceptance, but after the deadline..... =(

ANYWAY, it seems as if I'll be going to NYU, but I'm reeeeally actually hoping for Columbia.... AHHH

Do you know when we'll get our decisions for TC? I'm assuming around the end of this week but I'm not sure.

Has anyone visited the NYU program?  I've heard mixed reviews from several people... What is the program like?  How are the faculty?  I'd love to hear about your experience(s)!

I would love to go but I have four classes Thursdays spread out between 9:30 am and 7:30 pm. Not sure I can make it. Are you going?
