I'm really weighing my options right now. GW will be far more expensive but I think that DC will provide a really amazing experience. When all is said and done, I think I will still end up at FSU because of cost/my lease, but I'm trying to look at every possibility that I can in the next 24 hours to make the most informed decision!

Freaking. Out. I got a call at 4:30 today from GW saying I've been accepted and I have 24 hours to commit. However, I already committed to FSU and signed a lease! I have no idea what to do. GW was my first choice.

You're definitely right! I'm happy with my decision. I had a great experience during my trip to NYC last weekend and was feeling a little sad that I won't be getting that experience next year. But, I can always get the big-city experience after grad school, especially now that I will be saving a lot of money!

AHH I'm having second thoughts about declining NYU :/

I was accepted off of the waitlist from Northeastern this past Friday (the 12th). They are mailing an "official letter" that will contain my deadline for accepting admission. Still waiting on George Washington University's waitlist, but I have also accepted my offer at Florida State.

If you were waitlisted at Northeastern, check your portal. I was accepted off the waitlist without being notified of a change in my status... Almost wish I never looked because now I'm really rethinking my decision to attend FSU. NU was one of my top choices but I had given up hope and fell in love with FSU.

If you've been waitlisted, check your portal! They accepted me off the waitlist today without emailing me that a change had been made. I'm really upset now because my heart has been set on FSU but this caused me to rethink things.

Has anyone found an online option during the summer (preferably the later half) for Neurological Bases of Communication or an equivalent course? University of Alaska is not an option for me because I will be out of the country for two weeks in June and will be unable to "attend" the online class.

Accepted my offer to Florida State University

That's extremely ironic haha! I'm thrilled to be attending FSU but I will always be a UF Gator for life it was such a hard decision to turn down my alma mater but I'm so excited to start the next chapter of my life in Tallahassee! Please keep me updated on your decision!

I'm so happy for you. Tampa is a great city and will provide a lot of great opportunities (It's my hometown!) Congrats on your decision!

This process truly makes no sense!! I'm glad that you are not dwelling on the UCF situation, because you've gotten into awesome programs so far and have great options at this point.

I guess the biggest con for me is that I would need to attend the UF program for 3 years and FSU for 2. Which really makes no sense, but if I can save a year of tuition costs/my sanity, I'm in. UF is notorious for not providing funding, which is another drawback. However, the facilities here are incredible. Shands is a fantastic teaching hospital and provides a lot of awesome opportunities. We also have the McKnight Brain Institute and Movement Disorders Center. You could probably google them and get more info, because I'm out of field and haven't had any experience there yet. UF is an amazing university and I feel blessed to have my undergraduate degree from here and to have been accepted into the Master's program. It's going to be a really tough decision.

Not to add to your anxiety, but I applied for summer and was notified in March. I randomly logged in and checked the myUCF portal and found out I was accepted, but didn't receive an email about it until a few days later. So keep checking!

I'm in the same boat as you! If I don't hear about funding soon, I am going to accept my offer from one of the FL schools I was admitted to :/

I'm having such an impossible time deciding between UF and FSU. I'm an undergrad at UF now, and feel like I need a new experience.... but then again, UF has such a great reputation. Ah!
