waltlaa9 Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I'm glad to receive an update, and the assurance that a delayed response does not necessarily mean a rejection. BUT I cannot believe that they would release decisions so much later than all of the other schools. They must be aware that it makes it extremely difficult for people to plan appropriately
rhodeislander Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Well, to be fair, the words they used were "end of the month." Interpret that how you will.
ansac111 Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 Since they have fewer seats than SAIS et al, they would have fewer admits ... I don't understand why cant they send the decision notofication all at once , when other institutes can...well
PrattIAFF Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 IN! CHECK YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION!  My decision was waiting even though I didn't get an email...
Goose1459 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 IN! CHECK YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION!  My decision was waiting even though I didn't get an email...  Congrats! I just checked - nothing is there. Now I will check every few minutes!
PrattIAFF Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Congrats! I just checked - nothing is there. Now I will check every few minutes! Â In previous years admissions acceptances, rejections and waitlists were interspersed and announced over several days... no apparent formula. Good luck to those still waiting... just periodically check your online applications.
line909 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Congratulations to everyone who was accepted so far! Does anyone know when we will be notified about any merit awards and aid?
PrattIAFF Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 (edited) Congratulations to everyone who was accepted so far! Does anyone know when we will be notified about any merit awards and aid? Â I'm also wondering... would it be in the acceptance letter or sent separately? Judging from previous GradCafe threads, MSFS financial awards were given in the acceptance letter. ansac111 Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 Strange..didn't get any notification but checked the online portal and the decision was available. Got accepted with 10$ tuition aid per year ... not sure  whether it is enough  but I'll think abt that tomorrow..today I celebrate

Was it mentioned in the letter? Edited March 15, 2013 by intlrlns
ansac111 Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 Congrats...yes it was mentioned in the admission letter. It said something like " I am also pleased to inform you have been selected for merit based...." Â Not sure whether they are following any particular path in these notifications.

Thanks for the info! yeah, I didn't receive any financial aid which is a bummer. Congratulations to you! Eager to know where people are going to end up eventually..
Kadisha Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 You guys made me literally jump out of my bed this morning. Â I'm IN! No financial aid though, thank God for the GI Bill but it would be nice to be fully funded.Â
heyheymse Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Congrats to everyone who's been admitted! Still nothing up on my online application. Now I have a new thing to obsess over, I guess!
waltlaa9 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Thanks for the notice guys, I didn't get an email but my decision was in the online application. IN but no funding. So that's definitely out.
rz922 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Im in! no email, was on the website. looks like no aid though
cresxxl Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Im in! no email, was on the website. looks like no aid though Is it the applyyourself portal? Haven't seen any update yet...
ansac111 Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 Is it the applyyourself portal? Haven't seen any update yet... Yes.. go at the bottom. under the decision status it would say -Â Your application decision is now available online If it is not there then don't panic as all decisions are not out yet Â
nason Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Nothing on mine yet. Â Ha I wonder if they keep tabs on how many times we log in....must be spiking like crazy today

taidan Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Hmm rejected. It was a long shot since i am straight out of undergrad... Now waiting on SSP I guess.Â
JFactor Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 (edited) Still nothing for me. But like Taidan, I have very limited experience after undergrad so I'm not expecting to get in (and MSFS isn't even one of the best suited programs for me to be honest) Edited March 15, 2013 by JFactor
Kadisha Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 I just recieved an email from SFS stating that I was accepted. Although the wording has me confused on the conditional acceptance. I'm not sure if it's a template email or what because I already satisfy all their conditions.
