dwise1 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 So I received a letter from Mica letting me know I was NOT admitted then this morning sent a email congratulating me "David Wise" twice on my acceptance. They also included details and information on visiting days as well as both financial and procedural details. What do I make of this? Should I email the admission director or call on Monday?
Nausicaa Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Call now and leave a voicemail. This is something you'll want to talk to them about directly I'd think...
Ren Adams Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Did you apply for more than one program? MICA notifies separately for each.
dwise1 Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 No just one, graphic design. I'm sending an email now, but as for the phone call who do I address? How do I put it? This is really weird as I wasn't technically wait listed either.
Ren Adams Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 It is really weird. You may be able to call the graduate admissions office and see if they can transfer you to someone who can assist, otherwise you might just want to contact one of the directors of graduate admission directly. I've dealt with Christopher Harring personally (he's an associate director) and he's been incredibly helpful and informative.
