That makes two of us, lol.

Seems like there's alot of Health Promotions and Occupational and Environmental Healthers on this.

LOL sighs.. oh the wait

Yes there is and it seems the offers are now being sent out late April -________-

I'm not sure if the Health Promotion program has interviews.

Ahh I can't handle seeing the "Under Review" anymore. Last year people started hearing back late March... and still nothing yet =(

Im with you on the "Under Review" I am tired of seeing that as well :(

hey what are the deadline dates for you to accept USask and UVic?

They both give you two weeks from the offer letter date

Trust me. "Under review" is actually less scary than seeing "Decision made" and not knowing exactly what that decision is.

I applied to two other programs at U of T and both of them got back to me by mail, so I had to wait for a while to find out whether I had been accepted after seeing "Decision made" pop up on my SGS page.

"A letter of your admission decision was mailed out yesterday."

this is what UT  answered me right now. What now? I am an international student and a mail will take life-time to reach me.  :o

Which stream did you apply for?

Hi everyone,

I am finishing up my undergrad at UBC in Kin. I got rejected from UBC MPH early March but I got an acceptance phone call from UWO MPH today (I missed their call yesterday and somewhat panicked).

I see that not that many people applied to UWO? It does make me a little nervous knowing that the tuition is extremely pricy ($28 000 for the 12 month program).

Oh gosh I don't know what I'll do when that happens. I'll probably skip work and stand by the mailbox lol.

I am not expecting such grand news for me.Ever since rejected from SFU, I do not believe I might occupy a position in UT. still fingers crossed

The woman I spoke to didn't say they were interviewing applicants. She just said that decisions would be mailed out (ughhh...) in late April.

UofT Health Promotion doesn't appear to do interviews, nobody in the results search has ever posted about having one.

A couple(?) more weeks until we know!

As far as I know (from previous MPH-UofT students, professors and colleagues) U of T does NOT have interviews for their MPH- Health Promotion and Epidemiology streams. They base it off your submitted application and references.

Anyone hear from the UofA lately? Especially, the Epi stream?

I've applied for UofA's Health policy stream, they say applications under review, will send reply in late April probably.

I got my acceptance email from the Epi concentration about 2 weeks ago (although I actually never received the first email and they had to resend it). Due date to accept was Friday the 4th, so if anyone declined, it is possible more offers may go out soon (but don't quite me on that). They only accepted 5 people into Epi.

Just to provide an update:  I received my official (via post) offer to the University of Toronto's MPH in Community Nutrition today, just about 1 month after receiving the email offer (which was on March 6th).  Hopefully those of you waiting for the other specializations at UofT will hear back soon!

Hi everyone, just an update for UofT MPH in Occupational and Environmental Health (OEH): I attended the interview this morning; I was informed they will be completing the remainder of interviews by around Wednesday this week, and that first offers will be going out at the end of this week / next week. Simply repeating what they told me, so hopefully this info helps some of you here :)

Good luck to all!

PS: I don't know about the other UofT MPH programs but I think only OEH has interviews because their cohort size is rather small (~10-15 students/year)

Community Nutrition also had interviews, back at the end of February. Probably due to two factors: small cohort size (10 students per year) and the fact that Dietitians of Canada interviews for dietetic internships were around the same time (and internship offers went out in early March for the first rounds, hence UofT wanting to get its internship offers out around the same time as many students apply to internships as well as combined masters-internship programs like UofT's MPH in community nutrition).

Hi BCMPH,

5 people is a very small number. At least I have a back up. Have you decided on where you are going?

I will most likely be going to UofA (have also accepted SFU until I decide), but my girlfriend and I are having a difficult time coming to to terms with moving to Edmonton. Most people say "after two Yeats you'll be ready to leave" haha. But two years isn't that much in the grand scheme of things.

Does that mean I should not expect any good news, if they say decision is already sent to me by Mail, and I have not received any email, call or interview notification so far. I also called them but grad coordinator said- it can be notified by mail only.

I am an international student and it will take a long time for their mail to reach me. Should I count on it at all?
