Yetanotherdegree
I'm scheduled for the GRE next Saturday, but I don't think I am ready and I have had a series of work etc things come up that have and will prevent me from studying. I don't need the score until fall 2014, and I'm seriously thinking about rescheduling until May or June next year. If you have rescheduled, were you able to choose a test date that far out? Is it easier to call because the dates I want aren't showing yet on the website? I don't know if this will be an issue for rescheduling or if its just an issue for booking now, but there are no test dates showing into 2014 yet. Thanks! Arezoo
Hey, You can only reschedule to dates available.
PBD
This may not be pertinent to the OP, but I did have to reschedule my test because the test center canceled my test the day before it was to take place. I was furious, but also at their mercy. There wasn't anything left for open spots that month, they got me in the next month. So if you are taking the test at a test center that isn't on a big university campus, you might want to schedule for two at a time.
CP3
I rescheduled the test date, then cancelled it a few weeks later because I decided to apply to grad schools next year. Not happy that ETS hasn't notified me about a refund yet, will call them tomorrow about their negligence. The policy is you receive a partial refund if you cancel the test date up until 4 days before the date of the test. I cancelled the test about 5 weeks before the test date, haven't heard a peep from ETS. They are an unbelievable monopoly. Hopefully I have overlooked something, but doubtful.
