libbybarbee Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Well, it looks like at this point I am left to decide between Art Center and SVA. Does anyone know anything about either of these in terms of fine arts? I have a friend who started at SVA this year. I have talked to her quite a bit about the program and I still can't quite decide whether it is the program for me. I know that CCA ranks pretty well, but I don't know how much of this is because of their design program. Any advice? Please.
SunshineState Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Art Center has a lot of contact with professors, they have to write a long thesis and have it approved before getting their diploma.Studios are large, for the most part. Reputation is great in L.A. I think you should decide if you want to make 100 contacts in New York or Los Angeles. And look at the faculty you'll be studying with!!!

Vun Hun Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I did my undergrad at art center. More of a design school. Best of the best for industrial design, but for fine art...no. Go to New York, just sayin.
