how many applicants this year for MFA Fine Art?

Very curious to see if any rejection or acceptance letters this year mention # of applicants and accepted students?

And if anyone has info for last year, please share....!

i know for like u of texas austin, and indiana they had over 300 applicants for only like 10 spots or something crazy. same for vcu i think, and they only had like 6 spots.

i was speaking for the mfa painting programs.

Painting:

VCU told me "over 200 applications" for yes, 6 spots. They did say it was the highest they have ever had. No one else mentioned a number.

When I was at my interview for SAIC painting the person giving a tour said they had 1000 applicants, which was cut down to 100 for interviews, for 25 spots. I think Hunter was a similar number of total applicants to the entire MFA program, with about 150 interviewing for a total of around 80 spots (both fall and spring entry). Something tells me the SAIC number is a little high or the person was mistaken and meant for the entire studio MFA.

I think at the hunter interview day they said 700 applied 150 interviewed 80 accepted. Yale - 750 applied 75 interviewed 22 accepted.not sure about any other programs but would love to know the stats for the LA schools...UCLA, USC?
