I just got an email from Minnesota (health services PhD) that I was accepted. So people should be hearing soon.

I had a site visit at UPenn last week, had a phone interview with Berkeley two weeks ago, and was notified that I am on the waitlist this week.  Have not heard from:

 

Harvard

Hopkins

Yale

 

* I did fly out and visit the programs at Harvard & Hopkins on my own late last year, so YMMV.

Does anyone know if Columbia sociomedical sciences conducted interviews this year?

 

It seems like they did last year (perhaps for  some tracks but not others?) but I haven't seen any postings about it on the results page.

It seems like UMich sent out their HSOP PhD acceptances today. I'm guessing if I haven't received one, it means rejection?

@weiwentg Please when did u submit your Sophas app? I am yet to get an admission decision from this program, contacted the director on March 3 and she said there was still no decision yet even though I submitted my app in Nov 2013. I wonder what's taking so long.

abe14, I am in the same boat.  I contacted the graduate coordinator and she told me that 12 offers have been made, and that the expected cohort size is 6-10 students.  Depending on how many people decline the extended offers, those of us in pending status (ie, limbo) will be re-considered.  Personally, I am treating this as a no and moving on.

pardon the late reply, I hadn't been checking this thread. I submitted my SOPHAS app on 12/1.

Has anyone else applied to UC Irvine? I cannot believe there's only one person who has heard back (according to the Results Search). Such BS that they haven't sent out any decisions yet! How are we supposed to make our own decisions in the next week without knowing our options?! Le sigh.
