takeuwithme
Well the math in the idiot guide has calculus, or so i thought. The class I'm in is pre-calculus or intro to calculus. The class is free, I can drop it. What math do I need? The math in the idiot guide looks very complicated. I don't need trig or calculus. I am lost. The GRE general test doesn't have calculus per the ETS. Were you perhaps looking at the subject test? https://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/prepare/quantitative_reasoning/
Chandru1
You don't need more than algebra II.
Crimson Wife
I wouldn't take calculus unless for some reason you needed to take a calculus-based physics course. I was pre-med for the freshman and sophomore years of my 1st undergrad degree and calculus & physics are HARD! Definitely not courses to do unless you're required to if want to maintain a high GPA. My cumulative GPA was respectable but that's only because I did well in all my other courses.
takeuwithme
Ok thanks. I'm taking a free online geometry class instead. It is really helping the GRE guide questions.
