WendyWonderland Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Dear community, I have a question, is there any differences between "Status: Payment accepted, form submitted successfully" and " Status:" In Progress"? Thanks! Wendy
FreeRadical Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 What school? What's a link to the application site? Which notification came first?
WendyWonderland Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 What school? What's a link to the application site? Which notification came first? Cornell is in progress while Princeton is only" submitted". They use the same system. Any explanations? Thanks!
VioletAyame Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Cornell is in progress while Princeton is only" submitted". They use the same system. Any explanations? Thanks! Was Cornell's status ever "submitted" when you first clicked Submit? If yes I would venture and guess that it means they're reviewing your file now. If not I wouldn't think too much of it - the same for Princeton's "Submitted". Some schools just don't bother to change the app status. For me both my Ohio State and USC apps still look exactly the same with the boring "App submitted, payment accepted line" and I got noticed from them both since the last few weeks of January.
I am not sure yet Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Those status are confusing! In some programs, mine is submitted, but missing transcripts, but when I contacted the about this problem, they said it was alright, my application was already under review and this was probabily just because they didn't change the status online. But if you are worried, contact the admission office to double check!
