snbrockman Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I recently was accepted into a Behavioral Neuroscience program, which offers full tuition remission and a stipend of around $24,000. I have also been nominated for a fellowship worth $16,000 spread out over 2 to 4 years. So, if I were to get this fellowship, would it be in addition to the stipend and what am I able to use these funds for? Just research? Personal living costs?
anthropologygeek Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 depends, need more info. Some fellowships are in place of the assistantship and others are on top of the assistantship. Either wait to see if you got it or just email the department
snbrockman Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 It's at Purdue University. I'm not quite sure if it would be along with it. I have a visit this weekend, so I will just politely ask my POI.
denimfan Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 This is a question that should be asked directly to your program.
