DeVryGrad06 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Hello all, Over the past few weeks I have been receiving emails from a program attempting to persuade me to choose their school. These emails have been saying some nice things about my application materials and even mention a few of the items specifically. I am not sure if I am going to accept their offer unless I am funded, so I was wondering what type of response I should give to these emails without sounding too committed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would say that! Nicely, of course. Just say, "I really loved Your School, and would be very happy attending there. However, financial aid will be a big part of my decision, can you tell me what kind of funding you offer and when those decisions will be made?"
DeVryGrad06 Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 Thank you for the advice. Hopefully I worded my response correctly. I don't want to come off as greedy. Haha!
Porshyen Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I have this same "issue" but most programs should be pretty understanding of this. Anyway, what's the harm in asking in a polite, reasonable way? The worst that can happen is for them to say they would be unable to offer funding. Currently, I am waiting to hear back on funding from one school and I am on pins and needles...
