maelduin
I was just wondering, I have been told I'll receive a stipend, but no definitive amount. Is it bad form to ask what the amount will be?
likemythesis
Heck no. You have to live on that money. The least they can do is tell you how much, especially because it can affect your decision to attend, assuming you haven't already accepted. iphi
Sometimes they'll try to get around telling you by saying this year's stipend amount has yet to be determined. Make sure you follow-up by asking how much it was the year before -- usually it only raises by a hundred dollars or so anually.
Munashi
Definitely ask and make sure you get a concrete answer (preferably in writing) before committing.
Vene
Considering that landlords kind of want to know your income, it's one of those details you're gonna need.
