lhommependu Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 GRE gre lhommependu, Pol and GeoDUDE! 3
GeoDUDE! Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I just did the power prep... for got how long those were. I finished early on both them. I dont even spend anywhere close to 50 hours studying for graduate classes in an entire semester, can't imagine anyone needed to spend that much time for a test as easy as the GRE.
Catria Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 General GRE: 3-5 hours Physics GRE: 40-45 hours

Catria Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 200+ hours? Jesus, just give up. Maybe the one that spent 200+ hours was out of school for years or came from a weak undergrad...
Vene Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Maybe the one that spent 200+ hours was out of school for years or came from a weak undergrad... I don't know that I accept the weak undergrad rationale as the what the GRE tests is pretty basic. Even the quantitative section only covers high school mathematics.
Vene Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Subject tests are probably a different story, but taking one isn't a universal experience. At the least I can say I didn't do one.
