xolo Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 The Professors I've met have been really nice people and it is incredible how quickly and accurately they can read material. But it is a lot of material to go through and they know how important their decisions are. I'm a little amazed that in just a couple of short months we'll probably know more than half of the decisions and by May it will be over.
omensetter Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 A note on the UChicago date listed here - the single early March acceptance in the Results Search is anomalous, I think. In past years (including 2014) they notified in the first couple of weeks of February. Posting this because they're likely to be the first of my programs to send acceptances; all the rest usually notify mid- to late February. __________________________ 1
Scottstein Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Emory anybody?any interview calls? anything?...
ToldAgain Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) From what I see on the Results page, Emory traditionally contacts about interviews in the latter half of January, around the 17th - 20th or so. Edited January 6, 2015 by ToldAgain

NowMoreSerious Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Don't put too much stock in these dates, even though they have some truth. Sometimes schools just go against their normal schedule and alert late. I know certain schools like Emory always come in early, though. Duke pretty early. Berkeley usually comes in late.
