This is one group that ,I suppose,feels relatively ""marginalized"" by the "hegemony" of other mainstream sub-fields . Would be happy to know candidates who have been accepted/waitlisted at various programs for this sub-field and what their preferences would be..I,for one,was waitlisted at Maryland and Austin.And have almost given up hope regarding these.Oh well..

I was just asking how large the cohort was?..and a field like Digital Literacies is likely to have one new student entering per year,then?

Is waitlist at UT operated on a field basis? Can they opt for more than one kid per field? And what is the average strength of the class?

Nice conversation guys...I feel the warmth.Being waitlisted, I can't attend the open house even if I wish to.A few oceans away. And God knows when the decisions will be made

Really stressed out about being on the maryland English PhD waitlist (for textual and digital studies) and on the one for UT Austin Digital Literacies --Any idea/leads/info about movement in these programs will be appreciated Life is sad
