Waiting for MIT Chemistry after an interview anxiously!

To those who major in materials/inorganic chemistry and got an interview from Prof. D and Prof. S at MIT Chemistry:

Are you still waiting for the results? The admissions offers should give out by this time according to the professors during the interview, but I still could not heard anything from them. Are their any cases similar to mine? Are you still waiting for the results or contacting with the faculty members? Have all the offers been given out yet? Do I still need to wait for it? I suppose I am rejected because I have not given the offer after such a long time after the interview......

I am stressing out......!

I don't know which Prof. D and Prof. S you are referring to, but I was interviewed by a Prof. D and a Prof. S in early January. The said nothing regarding the admission dates (I didn't ask), and I got the admission offer a few days ago. There's probably no reason to make any assumptions regarding your status yet :)

Congratulations!

Would you mind telling me the time of visit weekends of MIT? Thanks a lot!

The schools reopen tonight/tomorrow. After your interview with Schrock and Dinca they confer and make sure you weren't a babbling bafoon. Just keep calm, as they say. From what I understand those interviews that the inorganic people do are merely a formality

Do you think MIT is done with interviews/acceptances?  I was accepted to the REU there last summer (turned it down to do research in Italy), not that I thought I was a shoe in, but it seems weird that I haven't heard anything from them.

Looking at past years' results, some acceptances may trickle down next month!
