Friends,

I am having another wave of anxiety. Send help.  :o

Talking about the program helps me calm down. I though the graduate students were very helpful and kind. Does anyone know what the average commute to an externship is?

In our session they were saying that they could help to choose externships that would make sense for schedule, location, or where you want to be after graduation.

Sorry you're struggling again!  Obviously I wouldn't be checking the forums if I wasn't a little anxious myself... Got a test in a few hours, though, so I should probably focus on what I can actually DO something about at this point...;)

I do know that a SNF placement is done in Sartell (a suburb of St. Cloud). There's also a rehab placement in Golden Valley (suburb of the cities). There's more, but these are two that stick out in my mind. They also do school placements around the St. Cloud area too.

I feel the need to take out anxiety on unhealthy food.

"Unhealthy" is relative, amiright?  Prolonged anxiety isn't good for you, either, and if a little junk helps... Temporary solution, obviously.  But these are extraordinary circumstances.

I appreciate the support and the information about the externships.

I have been stress eating since Saturday. Ha! I'm ready to get back into my normal routine. That keeps getting pushed back as each day passes. I hope everyone is okay with that blizzard you are getting in MN!

Probably safe to say that calls aren't coming after 5, right?

The blizzard is making a pathetic showing down in the cities.  Same in St. Cloud?

I would guess the calls would come during business hours. I was honestly expecting a massive blizzard. The weather folks played it up to be much worse than it was. I-94 was pretty bad I heard! There was some whiteout conditions in open areas but it was nothing comparable to that November snowstorm we had. Some people never seem to learn that even though you are an "experienced" winter driver, you can't get away with driving erratic on glare ice without expecting to meet the ditch. My poor little car had quite the trek home through the slush patches.

Glad to hear you made it home safe in the slush!  I've been home all day - school from home.  Which is why I've been on the forum so much.  Doing classwork most of the day, but it's so easy to just keep a tab open...

Hope all of you have a great night, that anxiety is at a minimum, and that we all practically forget that we're waiting tomorrow...

I haven't let my phone leave my side this whole week...which is not helpful when you're trying not to worry! Blah. Deep breaths friends! I just hope I know one way or the other within the next couple of days!

Not today, folks. I am going to hope for tomorrow now. I think they always have good intentions of getting out a fast reply, but busy schedules and such can interfere with that! Good thing I have exams to study for that keep my mind somewhat occupied. It also keeps me from lurking these forums and the results section so much.

Welp, back to studying (and waiting).

Hope exam studying goes well! I just finished the most recent batch, and am on kind of an early spring break - working, but nothing I HAVE to study for or turn in. Oh good, more time for lurking...

Am honestly trying to spend that time looking at home design websites, because we're buying a house! Inspection is tomorrow. So that should be a good distraction. Eee! It'll be OK no matter what.

Also, Spiesie - I feel you on the phone worries. I had to just start turning it off or leaving it in another room. Hard at first, but felt so much better after a bit.

Not to scare anyone but, calls were made two hours ago. They could still be making them.
