I applied for the MPA-DP program as well. Anxious to hear back!

It appears to be a very potent program for those interested in pursuing careers in the development sector... as for results, i wonder if they would be delayed on account of the shifting of the admissions office....

Hey I just got the answer. I'm in, no word about funding though. You guys know if this means I got no funding?

Good luck everybody!

@oscarsson

CongratS! I have also been accepted to the MPA-DP, my letter of acceptance states " "In a few weeks you will receive specific information on the cost of attendance and possible sources of financial aid. "

Dunno if all are similar, but I guess that we will have to wait some more time to hear about funding

Good Luck to everyone else!!

Cheers!

Edit: there seems to be some people in the results section that have already been notified about financial aid (excellent packages of 50K, 70K...) Hope that SIPA shares more of those Benjamins!!! hahaha

@Xperto congrats!

Yeah you are right - guess I was just too excited to read it through :/ We'll just have to wait.

Thanks!

Hey.. I got through as well! however absolute silence on the Funding aspect. I noticed that other applicants (not  MPA-DP) have been notified about financial aid decisions already..

hi all.. just heard back from the Admission Committee.. Any fellowships if awarded, would have been mentioned in the admission letter itself.. Besides only 10% of the first year MPA-DP student are awarded scholarships...

Bummer. SIPA is slipping away from my shortlist.

Has anyone admitted to the MPA-DP program at SIPA received even a whiff of financial aid???

So I just got this email:

We think your background and interests will be a great fit with SIPA. Our MPA in Development Practice is led by , a foremost expert in . She will be in touch soon to share information about the and learn more about your goals. In the meantime, I hope you will click here to learn more about work.

??? Two blank spaces...

Ditto. Seriously SIPA?

Who all are planning on enrolling in the program? From my research, the usual disadvantages associated with SIPA (too big a program, difficulty in registering for popular courses, impersonal nature of the program) do not apply to the MDP as such. The program is very expensive no doubt.. Divorcing myself from financial considerations, I have a very good feeling about the program..

Hi Guys

I too have concerns about the financial implications. Currently deciding between Harris, SIPA and Michigan. I also somehow feel that SIPA is a bit impersonal and might not lead to strong placements. Also, no funding received is a bummer.

Hey guys, I'm turning down my offer for the MPA-DP. I don't know if anyone has been waitlisted but I hope my place makes space for someone else. Good luck to you all with your decisions!
