For those who were applying or accepted (even better!) to MIT Political Science, could you please share your SOPs, or SOP recommendations and some basic background? ozhyna Posted March 2, 2015 Author Share Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) I applied to MIT Bio because I have BA in Biology, got in 2 years , accelerated studies - passed every required exam (around 70), thesis, state examination. Currently getting MS in Biology, 3d year on International relations faculty. Not double major. They are two different degrees. International, Ukraine. 6 scholarships. International Biology Olympiad 2012 participant. GRE was poor...I will retake: V:153, Q:165. GPA: 4.0. Same will be with International relations. kaykaykay Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 yes ok. whatever. if you are really at MIT, and you are dead set on going there, be a normal person and go to the poli sci department take some classes meet the students and ask them for their SOP. you can even find the people who are working in your field. good luck!
