Hello!

Surprised to see that there isn't a thread for Harris this year. Has anyone heard anything from them yet?

cheers

Harris Admissions has a pretty active twitter account. On March 3 they tweeted that decisions would be sent out in 7-10 days... which is this week. Good luck to all of us!

I know....this is THE week, major decisions are due in next five days.

Keeping fingers crossed.

Good luck to all

Yeah and before that they had tweeted that they would probably release decisions on March 10th. Im super excited and anxious over this week. Do you realize this is almost it? No more waiting or suffering?

There have been several students from Harris that have shared their experience and their views tend more to the negative side. Some of them have even described Harris as a milk cow for Chicago. I honestly dont know what to think, while researching it seemed like a perfect fit for me and the admissions team has been so kind.

I've heard some pretty negative things from current students as well. Very concerning.

Initially this program was my second choice program behind only Berkeley Goldman. However now, after hearing glaringly negative reviews from several current students, I'm not sure how I feel about the program anymore.

Does anyone know how funding is like for Harris? Also, I can't seem to find more information on internship opportunities available to students.

I have a hunch Harris decisions are imminent.

I am a UChicago alum of the College, and just received an email from UChicago IT Services stating that I will "remain a part of the UChicago community," that they have cancelled the closure process (which I thought happened 3 years ago), and "restoration of your normal access to services...should be complete within one day."

Perhaps I've been admitted and they sent that information to IT before sending out my email? I guess we'll see. Could just be overly optimistic.

Can somebody say more about the negative feedback you've heard from current Harris students? I have not heard anything negative but I think I might have spoken with a biased group.

Harris just released their decisions (saw via twitter). Log in to your app to see.

I'm in, but no funding, so hard to be that super excited since I am not willing to go into that much debt :-/

Still - super flattering!

Just got the email to check my application status, and I was admitted to the MSCAPP program! No funding. Hope you all find out soon.

Accepted with full tuition + 20000 stipend... OH MY GOD

Wow, congratulations!!

I was also accepted, but with no funding. Wish I had 150k to spend on tuition and living expenses for the next two years!

In with $11,500 a year.

Very thankful, but it's not an option at that cost. A weird mixture of happy and disappointed.

Interesting: I have a little more on offer from Duke than you, but both you and I got in to Chicago with the $11,500 while naso was admitted sans aid (sorry nasso, wanna trade for your Cal package?!), but *did* get in to Goldman with aid.

Here's hoping that by some transitive property of admissions that means we'll get into GSPP!

I was admitted to the MSCAPP program, but without aid. Reminds me of my undergrad package from Chicago.

Admitted, but no funding. Is there a chance that funded offers that were declined would make its way to some admitted students who didn't receive funding (post-April 15)? Haha

Accepted with an iota of funding ($11.5K). Feeling comfortable with the acceptance, but for sure wouldn't join this to graduate with high debt.

Congrats to all! Accepted to MSCAPP with 11.5k in funding. Kind of beside myself I'm so shocked... I'll definitely have to find alternate sources of funding to lighten the amount of debt, but I'm super excited and will likely be accepting.
