indorichai Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Hi, I was wondering how other people wrote their "thank you" notes after an interview. Is there something that I should add in my 'thank you' note aside from a simple "thanks?" Speaking of thanks, thanks in advance for those who can help me out with this
MidwesternAloha Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 The shorter, the better, because professors get a ton of emails. Just don't send the same thing to each interviewer, because they talk.
QueenNee22 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I actually mailed my thank you note to my interviewers of the simple fact that professors do get tons of emails and I did not want mine getting lost in the bunch. But I agree the shorter the better. I pretty much thanked them for taking the time to interview me, thanked them for advice they gave me with the questions I had for them, and told them I enjoyed the experience and thanked them again for having me. Nothing too fancy.
