I'm hoping they send out a few more before the end of the day!

I specifically applied to Ireland and I'm getting anxious that they'll be way later than usual this year because in the past they have had 4-5 awards and this year they have 9 so it is just more to to sort through/narrow down/decide on.

Which country did you apply to?

How do you know how many awards each country has? Thanks!

I'm not totally sure if it's listed as fully for all countries (and not sure if it is listed at all for ETA, or if so, where it is listed) but the Fulbright website shows how many study/research grants on these pages http://us.fulbrightonline.org/countries/selectedcountry/ireland I linked Ireland as the example (8 partnership awards and one open award), but you can go check other countries on that list as well. Hope that helps!

It looks like Laos was updated and with recent events in Egypt it seems like their program has been cancelled this year.

No, still waiting! Are you ETA or research?

Is there anyone out there who has applied to Indonesia who would be interested in talking about their experience applying ? I noticed there are a few on the spreadsheets but no GradCafe user names. Considering applying again to Indonesia next year.

Hey guys! I've never actually posted on here, but I've been following this since I first applied in 2013 and again since I reapplied for this cycle.

I found out about two hours ago I got the ETA for Laos. I saw the subject heading while teaching (I teach seventh grade English) and almost freaked out in front of all my kids. I'm telling you guys before I even tell my parents or boyfriend, haha. Good luck to everyone else! Laos found out super early, which really caught me off guard, although it seems like this year's application cycle is very different from when I applied a few years ago.

Just found out I'm an alternate for Germany (research)

Hope you guys are able to keep up good spirits. Any other plans (including applying again for another cycle?)

I'm an ETA Germany hopeful.  Was hoping they would release everything for the country in the same day like they did last year. No such luck.

Hey All,

I am a finalist for the ETA in Poland (yay the waiting is over). I'm sorry to hear that others didn't get it :(

Now I have nothing but questions. Mainly, when will I find out more information. Which city will I be in? How much is my stipend? Is there a pre-departure orientation (on the country info page it says there is one, but not on the pre-departure orientation list)?

Does anyone know when we will receive more specific info on our placements?

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Also rejected for Germany research. :(

I'm incredibly disappointed, but I'll try again next year.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I was also really hoping that Germany ETAs would find out today. Whether it is good or bad news, I would just like to know. Congrats to everyone who have gotten the grants and best of luck to those who did not.

I don't know what is more nerve-wracking: waiting on voting results or waiting to hear back from fulbright.

I am waiting to hear from Mexico. The anxiety is real. I applied for a research grant. Hope we find out soon! Good luck everyone!

Still waiting to hear back about UK awards!

I was really hoping it was going to be today!  Maybe this week? It's all guess work and speculation at this point...

Both.  Definitely both!  At least we will find out voting results first...
