Just received a rejection email from WWS for the MPA. I think they're sending out decisions one by one now. Not bummed at all since I got into Yale Jackson, along with other schools. Now just hoping for some good funding from the schools I was accepted in... Good luck to everyone else!

Hey everyone, long time lurker but first time poster. Nerves are getting to me.

I applied to: 1) GW Elliot for Security Policy studies - Security and Development 2) Pitt GSPIA: International Political Economy 3.) UMD College Park: MPP: International Security and Economic Policy and 4.) George Mason: Master's of International Commerce & Policy.

Accepted into Pitt, no rejections yet.

anyone hear back from maryland today? trying to figure out if its a concentration thing or why they accepted some and haven't got back to me yet, haha.

I was admitted to WWS MPP this morning. Absolutely delighted! I've also had my scholarship and stipend confirmed so I'm 95% sure I'll be attending WWS...but interested to see what Fletcher comes back with. I applied to SAIS but they don't offer fellowships for the MIPP so I've pretty much written it off already :P

@Ecook9416 I am in the same boat as you for UMD.  The portal changed from "Under Departmental Review" to "Under Graduate School Review," but they haven't released a decision for me yet.  I'm interested in whether or not anyone on this forum was accepted.  I think it's interesting that there was only one UMD update on the results page...

I also got into WWS and HKS. Which one are you leaning towards?

WWS. They are peer programs. The difference is that one leaves you 120k+ in debt. Feel free to send me a private message so that we can discuss.

@UNC86 yeah i'm still 'under departmental/program review', so I'm not sure what that tells either of us haha. I did see that there were two new submissions in the results search from college park, but like i wrote earlier, (my guess is that) these could be entirely dependent upon the concentration that those individuals chose, supposing that each individual concentration (ISEP, IDP) have their own review process as well.

@Ecook9416 Just heard back from UMD.  I got in, but was waitlisted for funding.  It came in the form of an email with the admissions letter attached.  My portal has not changed to include an admissions letter.  So, I guess you can just be on the lookout for an email?  They seem to be trickling out one at a time.  Good luck!

@UNC86 Thanks for the heads up! Congratulations on your acceptance! Bummer about the funding waitlist, but I suppose thats part of the game.

I got bumped up to 'Under Graduate School Review' this morning, so I suppose I should hear back today or tomorrow. I'll be in DC on Saturday, so it would be nice to hear by then.

My UMD app also changed to "Under Graduate School Review" yesterday. Should be soon since the Open House is generally end of March.

Just got my email from them. Waitlisted for funding, though, so that's not going to work out. They're just too expensive for zero funding.

Did you happen to submit your application earlier than the Jan 15th deadline? I wonder why I haven't received mine yet.

Hey, so i actually submitted it that night. i guessed earlier that it might just be a simple matter of your concentration. In the interest of your sanity, I wouldn't read too much into it. Good luck!

Has anyone heard from Minnesota Humphrey re: funding? They said the deadline was the 15th so hopefully that comes today or tomorrow, but my decision pretty much hinges on what (if any) aid I receive from them. Argh, I thought after getting admitted I wouldn't have to wait anymore!

Nope. I talked to a professor in the school last week who said they would try to make decisions soon but didn't know if they would also send out funding letters the same day or until later. Either way, they're also on spring break this week so I imagine they won't be sent out until next week at the earliest.
