I know that Texas Woman's has Summer and Fall, but not spring. Also, Tennessee State has online/ distance, and that application is due July 1st, but only on even years. Hope that helps!

I didn't get in any of the schools for fall .. So I'm considering applying for spring now .. My question is these schools don't rank well on the U.S. News rankings and I don't know how to judge how the program is . Except Dallas I've not heard about the others schools ..

Any inputs would be great

Thank you

Honestly if you're in the same boat as me and didn't get in anywhere, rank should not matter. All programs have to adhere to ASHA regulations. They would not be accredited if ASHA didn't believe their program was adequate and efficient.

Ranking from a website means nothing and jobs aren't looking to see if your school is ranked higher or lower than big name schools. A lot of schools get their ranking based off funding, research and other factors.  Also a lot of higher rank school have bigger class sizes 60+ which can be a bad thing especially since you want to feel connected with your professors and actually want them to know you as a person. If a school is accredited under ASHA i definitely would not shoot them down.

Thank you very much ..

Has anyone heard about the program at LIU Brooklyn ?

I'm trying to read about every program and I am emailing the professors too .. But I really want to choose the universities correctly , that's what went wrong with my Fall cycle of admissions

Thanks

Not sure about LIU Brooklyn, but I would contact every school you're interested in directly and ask if they accept people with your stats. That's next on my to do list.

I haven't found any other school in California having a spring intake.

Dallas and Fresno are my top choices but given my stats I really hope I get in.

By when are the decisions out ?

Does anyone know if spring admission is any less competitive than fall admission?

From what I've heard is that they are less competitive, but every year the competition just seems to be getting higher .. :( so who knows how it's actually going to be
