CSDCAS questions

I know csdcas mentioned this but I just wanted to double check- I can send in my applications before my recommenders upload their letters right?! I wanna send mine in early bc I'm nervous csdcas won't verify it and I have to send it again, but none of my letters have been submitted yet :/ thanks!

I haven't done it personally, but my friend last year submitted her CSDCAS apps before all of her rec letters were in. They were turned in later, and she was fine (she got in!). I wouldn't worry about it :)

From their FAQ:

Q: Can I e-submit my application before my references are received by CSDCAS?

A: Yes. Once you have successfully filled out your application, you can e-submit it to CSDCAS at any time.

 

You'll be fine. Send it in so they can start the verification process. :)

You can submit your application before you LORs upload, but I do not think it will verify until you have at least 3 letters uploaded. You should check to make sure your intended program is ok with the Esubmit date vs. the verified date.

Mine is verified without the letters uploaded. You'll be fine.

From CSDCAS' instructions:

REQUIREMENTS

In order for your application to have a status of “Complete” the following things must occur:

1. All official transcripts are posted to your CSDCAS application, EACH with a date received in your “Program Status” tab.

2. Your payment is marked as received under “Program Status.”

3. You have received e-mail confirmation that you submitted the application.

4. Your application Program Status menu reads as “Materials Received > Verifying”

 

Nope, you don't need completed LORs to be verified. Your schools prob want these LORs done by a certain point, however, so keep that in mind.
