Didn't apply for Oxford, but some others like Sussex, Leicester and few others are pulling my leg for joining their institutions. Although they provide some really good quality education, we all know the employment situation in the country for Non-EU students, if you have not graduated from Oxford or Cambridge. So, when I receive mails with the word admissions in it, my mind gets elated, only to be drowned in disappointment that it's from a UK university
dinny Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 ugh, yes! Fortunately I emailed a professor that I had a great interview with for a timeline and found out the rough week that I can expect an email, so I'm not living in paranoia anymore.
marycaryne Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Woke up this morning to an email that said "Hello and Congrats!" Started getting excited until it turned out to be from my new academic advisor (my other one just went on maternity leave) and she was briefly introducing herself and congratulating me on my upcoming graduation. Don't toy with my emotions, lady!!
Nirvik Posted February 29, 2016 Author Posted February 29, 2016 Opened my Gmail account a few minutes ago and saw a new mail with the word "Admission" in the subject. Opened it up to see a conditional offer from Kingston University asking for some documents. Where are the US universities gone?
