British columbia applicants

I was wondering if anyone is waiting for University of British Columbia (UBC) or Simon Fraser University (SFU). Some people have already been contacted by their POI's, anyone with official admits?

Still waiting for UBC and McGill. No contact whatsoever.

I have applied to the MA econ at UBC. I (and I presume everyone else) got a mail saying that results will be declared from Mid- march to early may period.

I applied to CS. And I havent seen ANY mail from UBC regarding ANYTHING!

I contacted UBC's CS grad assistant last week and they said they are still to send rejections....don't know where I stand.

Does it mean they already sent some? because in the website they say if have not heard anything till early march your application still being considered.

I would think they must have, atleast to the very top pool of candidates. Most with research interests aligned perfectly with faculty or UBC MSc students. Application review started in mid Feb and I have seen some getting interviews.

Just an update. UBC is using a new application review system this year, so no rejections have gone out yet.

I got accepted yesterday, roughly a week after the interview . So I think UBC is sending out the invites the next week.

What program did you apply to? I am still waiting to hear from UBC. I hope I get an answer before March 31st which is my deadline to accept McGill's offer with funding. 

Anyone knows how long does UBC usually give you to accept their offer?

No answer here, too. My girlfriend was rejected in early March though. I don't have any hope but an admit would be good.
