captiv8ed Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Right, I am sorry. Must be the Xmas punch, I am not thinking clearly! Are you sure that Penn State's people won't be back next week? One of the grad secretaries at Oregon is going to be back on the 29th. Maybe you can call and explain the situation and see what they say.
tem11 Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 I somehow missed all the action in this thread! I hope you all got everything sorted and your letters arrived on time .
psycholinguist Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 A 'final' deadline was (apparently?) moved from 15 February to 31 January, which escaped my notice at the beginning of January. This was for my top-choice program. And one of my LOR-writers missed both dates. And I just found out. That letter isn't my most important, fortunately, and I got into a program last year with only two out of three required letters (the same LOR-writer thought she'd submitted my letter, but the program never received one from her). But I'm not happy about this. I don't even want to think about it. She already contacted the department about it, fortunately, so I hope she just gets it all worked out tomorrow or Monday.
