QMSS Columbia

Has anyone rejected QMSS offer? What has been your considerations for rejection? (I am deciding myself, so others opinions/ deliberations would be a great help)

hey didn't reject it because I'm still on waitlist. Did you apply anywhere else? The biggest reason I see for rejecting them is the cost of attendance is estimated at $86,951. I only have one acceptance right now and they gave me $7500 in scholarship. But that school even without scholarship is still cheaper than Columbia. I think you have to determine whether QMSS fits your goals and if you would be willing to take on the debt. If you will take on the debt, then will your salary be high enough when you get out or would you try for a top PhD program?

ugh I am really torn about UChicago. I think it's an awesome school and my uncle went to Booth but I just don't want to live in Chi!

I heard it's an amazing city. I know it's really cold and I hate winter. I believe there is also a lot of crime there. I mainly didn't want to go because of winter.
