For those of you applying to social work programs, I'm curious to hear how many programs you are applying to. I started off with three, now it's quickly moving to four or five programs that I am interested in.

So long as you are equally interested in attend all of the schools you apply to, go for it. What really matters is the strength of the application so that you will not only get admitted, but be eligible to receive any scholarships schools may offer. Good luck.

I applied to 4 in total. I too was wanting to add more schools, but this came from being afraid that I wouldn't get accepted to a good program. Be confident in your academic ability. I worried for no reason- found out last week I got into UNC-CH. Good luck to you!

I applied to five schools so far. UCLA, UC Berkeley, University of Washington, Washington University in St. Louis and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. I am almost finished with my University of Michigan Ann-Arbor application, still not sure if I will complete it or not... long story.

I have not been accepted to UNC, but not rejected... Can I ask how you were contacted? By email or mail or phone? Also, any news on scholarships or grants for UNC?

I applied to five, though I regret applying to a few of the less reputable ones. I have acceptances from Pitt, Columbia, Hawai'i Pacific and Hawai'i at Manoa. Still waiting to hear back from NYU.

i applied to six schools, I have a feeling that it is going to be across the board rejection but I would be happy if any one of them takes me....good luck to all the applicants this year !! I hope everyone gets good news !!!

Hey everyone! Congrats to those of you who have received admission offers already! Makes me wish I'd turned in my apps earlier

I applied to 5 programs, although my original plan was to apply to 6. Once things got going with the whole application process, I found myself feeling more and more comfortable with stopping after 5, hehehe.

Good luck to everyone and I hope we all hear good news in the coming weeks! Definitely don't lose hope cuz it ain't over til it's over!
