CV style question

On my CV, I have written some things in bold, like my job titles. I think it looks better and it makes it easier to read because they stand out. But I am noticing most profs do not use bold. Will it look amateurish if I do?

I just checked my current and a couple dream advisors' CVs for comparison purposes... the current one has bold titles (like Professional Experience) and positions (Professor), the dream ones have only bold titles.

So... I don't know . People seem to do both.

Cool! Good to know. I think if some people do it, then it won't send up any flags if I have it on mine. I just couldn't find any that did any bolding, so I was nervous.

I did the bolding too and I saw it on other CVs.
