Terminal MA

Are you in a terminal MA or MAT program? Is there life in the academy after such a program? I am starting to feel overwhelmed.

I recently graduated from an MA-only program. Of the graduating class, 50% are headed to PhD programs and 50% decided on teaching high school. All but one of those opting for high school had a job lined up before or within a few days of graduation.

I'm applying to terminal MA programs, so this is encouraging to hear! Thanks for letting us know those stats, it's definitely helpful to see where people head after a terminal MA program.
