saaman Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 hey guys: ummm... i have 19 days including today to prepare for my gre. yesterday i took the power prep test 1 and got 312 and the manhattan prep gre CAT exams also predict my score around the same level (I took 2 manhattan cat tests). How to push my score upto a 325 atleast. I am now working my way through magoosh gre lesson videos and the manhattan strategy guides. Any advice. Oh and any tips on how to work through the 5lb book of gre questions?
Vince Kotchian GRE Prep Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Yep - change your emphasis to doing, then analyzing ETS questions. Doing questions is easy; analyzing and learning from them is not. Identify the best method to solve, why wrong answers are wrong and why right answers are right. The ETS ones are way more valuable than Magoosh / Manhattan / fill-in-the-blank because they're realistic. Make sure you take a few practice tests including the ETS Powerprep ones.
Karan Thakkar Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Hi, Your final GRE day score will be only +- 10 marks around this score . So you may stand a chance to reach 325 score mark. For verbal section try using apps like 1. Barron's 1100 2. GRE Contextual Vocabulary App For Quants section check the Texas State repository for handouts and formula sheet.
