Spring 2017 Applicants

Hello everyone,

I have applied well before funding priority deadlines and so far, no news.

How you, guys, are doing? Has anyone received any update on their application?

I still have yet to hear back from my four programs. I am hoping to hear back before November.

I have not heard anything back from the schools I applied to. I was originally told I would receive letters by October 1st, but I'm still waiting. Supposed to be this week now.

I am still waiting on mine. It is getting really nerve wrecking as I still need to figure out living situations and it is only two and a half months away till the start of the spring semester!

Exactly!!! I'm taking my courses online, so I'm not concerned with living situation, but need to find out about my financial aid and whether or not I should start submitting more applications. I'm so tired of waiting. Ahhhh!

Same. I am getting nervous by the day since they are all rolling admission schools and I submitted my applications to all of them more than a month ago.  *sigh* I guess I am just going to have to relax and keep sipping on coffee, or something. This is so stressful to be going through during your last semester of undergrad.

My application deadlines were July 1st. I think 14 weeks or so should be plenty of time. And I was told I would receive acceptance letters by Oct. 1st. Here it is the 17th and I'm still waiting. Ahhh.....

I just got my first correspondance in two weeks from one of my programs. They are verifying my transcripts that I uploaded into my application. I wonder if that means they are already out of committee and the graduate school is now doing the final checks? I want there to just be a decision already!

Sigh!!!I thought I was the only one,now I know there are a lot of people.Feeling little relieved..lol

When did you apply to that one? How long was the wait for you? I am going nuts now that the deadline has passed for mine for a few weeks.

Got the one back last week and I applied September 15th, they said up to 4 weeks for results...

But yeah the others are KILLING ME

I am STILL waiting. Nothing yet. From anyone. I am starting to get very nervous as the time promised for many of these programs was October 15. Maybe I am on the waitlist, or they are waiting for a funding offer from the dean before sending out letters?

Tomorrow is already November, I am honestly hoping tomorrow I get the decision.

I just signed my confirmation of funding and supervisor form last week and received an email a couple days later saying the department has recommended me for admission to the Faculty of Graduate Studies! Hope to get the official email this week.

I just got an email yesterday that said the department has recommended me for admission to the graduate school as well. I will have to wait till probably later this week, or next week, to get the official letter, but still will be a rewarding experience as this was my top choice school. No word on funding yet, but apparently there are some GA positions open for next semester and the competition doesn't seem too large. Fingers crossed!
