adenlee Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Hello, I'm looking for SLP graduate programs that don't require recommendation letters during the application process. Your advices are greatly appreciated!
SLP1719 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I haven't seen any in the US that don't require letters of recommendation, I think it's pretty standard. WKU asks for contact info for your professional and academic references, but only contacts them for a recommendation if you are considered for acceptance into their program (i.e., if they are rejecting you right off the bat, your references won't be contacted for recommendations).
plume Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 This might be very outdated (it's from 2014) but here is an old thread on the topic:
Elska Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 CSULB doesn't! They just want names for references.
kayyyyy_ Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 CSU San Marcos (this year..) They change it every year though.
CCCaffeinated-SLP Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Eastern New Mexico University. I looked into their online master's program earlier this year and it says "we don't accept or require letters of recommendation." I didn't apply here however, so this have changed.
kenz Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 James Madison University asks for two references, but no letters.
