Crimson Wife Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I participated in a seminar through the CSD department at my alma mater that offered continuing ed unit credits. I got grades for each day of the seminar and they are listed on my transcript for summer semester along with an elective that I took for academic credit. Do I enter them in CSDCAS or not? I did no work for the seminar aside from listening to the lectures (which were really interesting and worth the time & money spent on them). I'm leaning towards entering only the course I took for credit but don't want CSDCAS to flag my application as incorrect.
Crimson Wife Posted August 13, 2017 Author Posted August 13, 2017 I do have the seminar listed under the "professional development" section of my resume along with other workshops & conferences I have attended.
Afternoonprogram Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I think you have to enter anything that shows up on your transcripts -for instance I had a transfer orientation on my transcript and I had to enter it into CSDCAS. The staff at CSDCAS are very helpful and promptly responded to any of my emails. It is better to enter more than less in my opinion.
ImHis Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Yes, if you earned grades or received credit, you have to report it.
