EvelynD Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Hi guys! I am prepping for the upcoming cycle and researching schools and programs. I want to obtain a PhD in animal studies and although I mainly look into anthropology programs, I think human (animal) geography (among others) would be a good fit too. Now, I've been looking into anthro programs for more than a year now but I don't know the field of geography very well. Would you guys have any recommendations for me? Of couse I am going to google the s**t out of search engines and jourmals, but maybe you could give me a head start!
qocha_geog Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Could you be a bit more precise with what you mean by Animal Studies
Shnoztastic Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 You could certainly look at biogeography programs but as @geo_JD says, specificity would help. You may be far along in your application cycle... So good luck if so!
