U Maryland application status check

I saw in the results page that several people have been able to view their decision online on this page: http://www.testudo.umd.edu/apps/gradapp/. How do you know what your UID is? I went over all the emails I have received from Maryland, and I couldn't find such a thing.

If you're a student or past student there, you can use your current UID. Otherwise, you can't check.

Oh that's totally not fair.

No, I found it! You go back into your online application on ARPA and access your supplementary app. There you click on Verify Contact Information on the left, and on this page you can see your UID. PIN is your date of birth in the format mmddyy. I'm still in the running!

Is the status page updated as decisions are made?

Is this only for the pure Math program, or does it apply to the Applied Math and Computational Science as well?

It should apply to both. I got to a page which 'listed' all the programs I had applied to. I put that in quotes because the list had one entry in it. I think that page works for any program you have applied to at U Maryland.

Thanks! Was able to find my UID, but PIN didn't work. Oh well.

Were the notices sent yesterday only for the pure mathematics program? Have any AMSC folks heard anything?

I don't think anything was sent. This is just the status page.

These AMSC results seem to be merely trickling in... it's killing me! This is my top choice program!
