alex.d.long Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Hi all, On November 4th, I sent all of my GRE test scores (the general test I took on 10/25, and the psychology subject test I took on 9/16) to every grad program (clinical psych PhD) to which I'm applying. Several of the schools are showing, in the "checklist" of received items in my application, that they have received my verified test scores for the general GRE, but have not received verified scores for my subject test. Has anyone else experienced this? I checked my confirmation emails from ETS which all say that I submitted both sets of scores to the schools. When I logged back into my ETS account, it reflects that both scores have been sent. If the school bothered to update the status as received for one set, why would the other set not be updated on their end, if they really did receive the score? If anyone has encountered this or has an idea as to why this might be happening, I'd love to hear your thoughts before I start jumping through hoops to contact the admissions offices and the ETS before the deadline this Friday... Thanks! Alex
GreenEyedTrombonist Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I'd be interested in the responses you get as well. I'm currently in a battle between one of my programs and ETS where the program says they did not receive my general scores (sent Oct 4th) and ETS says they sent them. Currently, the stand-off is the program saying they can't check the system to see if they just didn't attach to my application and that ETS will need to send them again AND ETS says the school needs to check their system and then contact them if they still can't locate the scores.
Psychologyandpizza Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 I had this happen a lot with my applications. I called and emailed all of the schools and they were willing to check on it and emailed me back when they found them to let me know they updated my application to reflect them. Not a big deal to contact admissions. They’re there to help you if you need it.
