marcoboy1818 Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 You will get the notification before 29 Dec. I think SAIS Europe released the result early this year. Anyone who is accepted from the early notification will automatically get half tuition fellowship.
Poli92 Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 Admitted. Waiting on aid email. I received an email to check the portal.

Poli92 Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 Got the funding notification around 3:30 EST
Leka8 Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Also was admitted. My funding email only referred to 2018/2019 funding. No mention of year 2. Presumably it is not renewable? How bout you guys, any thoughts? Poli92 1

I don't know that the funding level is guaranteed, but anecdotally I think that if the student is in good standing the offer is renewed for the second year. Leka8 1
marcoboy1818 Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Where did you guys see the funding notification??? Are you guys from SAIS Europe or DC? I’m admitted to Europe.
marcoboy1818 Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Did you guys submit the separate application for the funding???? I only selected the box on the application form. Arent we suppose to receive the funding notification on March?
Leka8 Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 DC. I received an email from the financial aid office with some funding details. I was surprised, I wasn't expecting any news about $ until March.

Apparently DC and Europe have independent budgets so they are probably just doing it differently.
jxw Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 got accepted in DC with funding for the first year. No mention of the second year. Didn't get IDEV though, and I'm primarily interested in IDEV courses, so I'll have to make some decisions...

I am wondering cause their official blog says that people who are accepted will automatically get half tuition fellowship.
cathyzcy888 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Deferred to the regular decision pool... CONGRATS to all of you.

Just checked with the financial aid office and they confirmed that the funding is extended to the second year pending full-time status and 3.4 GPA. Wondering why they wouldn't include that in the funding letter; that could affect someone's decision to accept. Poli92 1
