Apparently the ad. com. met on Feb. 12 already, despite the snow. So, decisions have been made. I still find it strange, however, that no one has posted an acceptance on the results board.
For those of you waiting for Georgetown - according to the website the admissions committee meets on Feb. 12. Unless snowmageddon/snowpocalypse strikes again!
(I'm a bit of a lurker; I'm waiting for my fiance's results...)
Thanks for the congrats and good luck to everyone else. I hope you hear back soon! And to go back to a previous topic - it really doesn't hurt to be in touch with your grad secretaries. I called my department secretary this afternoon to see if she had the results. She didn't, but then, not 5 minutes later, she called me back on my cell to tell me I got the CGS!
Congrats to everyone so far!

My grad secretary in the history department doesn't have anything yet. But she said that she heard the results were released yesterday. I'm still trying to get a hold of our grad studies department. Grrr!!!
Yes, SSHRC notifies all the grad studies offices, then they in turn notify the departments and mail out the letters. My department grad secretary said that she then calls everyone to let them know.
But the results do get released to the individual grad studies offices at each university first before they get mailed out. So maybe it'll be sooner...... I can hope at least!
