That safety school comment on the results board made my day

Heads up to those waiting to hear from JHU: I emailed to ask where or not all acceptances had gone out and the admin person responded with "Letters will be going out by the end of this week." I'm assuming this means rejection letters, but I have no idea. Just wanted to pass the word along.

The way UVa responds is particularly nerve-racking!

That's my thinking - and probably along with those acceptances another round of rejections. We shall see. For me I was more curious if they'd forgotten my name on the rejections email - that happened with Cornell so I guess if by Wednesday next week we haven't heard anything we'll have to check again.

I gave UChicago a call to see what was going on there and the administrator said that not all decisions had gone out yet and that we'll likely hear by the end of the week and at the very very very latest beginning of next week. Just in case anyone else was wondering.

Worried about Northwestern - anyone else getting the suspicion that they're done with admits?

Yeah this was my guess. My dad said that even if most universities were in session, it's likely a lot of adcoms didn't meet because profs were likely running all over trying to take care of their kids on school vacation. Darn presidents and their holidays!

Me neither.... Interesting....I wonder why we haven't heard yet then. I'm hoping the school is conducting business today even though its a holiday

I wouldn't assume that yet - there appear to have only been IR and CP admits so far and far too few given the traffic on this site this year. That being said, I could be totally wrong and completely influenced by wishful thinking

Have you tried calling the department? These online application checkers are so unbelievably unreliable
