  1. I don't know anything about it, but here's the link: http://slhs.sdsu.edu/programs/ma/ma-applicants-with-other-backgrounds-wob/
  2. I don't know much because I'm not a student at SDSU, but I do know that the program is the top ranked in California. They had over 550 applicants this year and accepted 37, but being an undergraduate at SDSU could definitely work in your favor. They also have a WOB (with other background) program that involves taking the prerequisites the first year and then completing the Master's the following two years. This could be a good option if your GPA/GRE is strong enough.
  3. Accepted to MedSLP program. Undergrad GPA 3.3 from reputable university. Communication disorders (2nd bachelors) GPA 4.0. GRE 162V, 164Q, 4.5AW. Good luck!!! No matter what your credentials, it could be worth a shot to apply so you never have to wonder "what if..."
  4. You guys should definitely call them!!! I heard back on February 28th. I informed them that I won't be attending, so perhaps if you are on the wait list then that opens up a spot!!! Good luck to both of you!!!!
  5. I saw that right after I posted. Aw well. Congratulations cahurt! My last shreds of hope are waning, but I still have other great offers. Just hard when you've been picturing yourself at that program for the past two years.
  6. Cahurt, are you still waiting on your email? I have been so calm through this whole process, but this is my dream school, and now I've become the one who's starting at the number next to my "Inbox" waiting for it to say "1." Congratulations to all of you that have been accepted so far!!!
  7. I wanted to start a thread about the University of Washington. I was accepted, but I've never been to Seattle (it's #1 on my list of places to go). I applied because it is such a good program, and they have the specific Medical SLP program which I love. I wanted to get a conversation going on who is considering accepting their offer of admission, and where people suggest living? It's so expensive!...I'm wondering if there are neighborhoods that are more affordable (but still safe) and have accessible public transportation to the campus. Thanks so much!
  8. Hello all! I was looking on a thread and stumbled across a bunch of posts from 2012 with people freaking out about CU Boulder. Could anyone provide any insights as to why people were so worried, and whether you've heard anything about this year? Like so many others, I'm getting a little nervous because it's my top choice! Thanks so much! And a sincere congratulations to those who have heard back and good luck to all else!
