I finally committed to a grad school and now all those anticipation, nervousness, and freak out feelings have subsided, which is a nice change of pace compared to the last few months. Although, those stresses are now replaced with the stress of finding an apartment in a new state among other moving and expense related concerns.
As of last week I turned down RISD's offer, and I am headed to MICA this Fall. I'm pretty interested to see what the make up of my cohort will be.

Hi everyone!
I can't believe how close everything is coming - interviews, decisions, rejections, etc. It's been quite an obsessive roller coaster ride. I'm interested to find out if anyone knows how many people Cornell is interviewing. Also, I'm going to be speaking to a friend who went to RISD to get the inside scoop on the interview process there and will post what she told me. I've updated my list of schools to show what I've heard back so far - got 3 rejections and 6 interviews (I went a little overboard on applying to schools!)
Something that I've been preparing for interviews at my schools is looking at all the grad faculty work, keeping a list of what it looks like and then I project how it relates to my work. I'm going to use this info as an answer for when they ask why I am interested in their program.

Yale interview granted last night...As you all could imagine I was pretty ecstatic. With this great news also came a near comatose brain where just the "smallest" task of selecting my interview slot is, well, simply put overwhelming. If anyone has any advice on the logic they used to derive their past decisions and any additional information on the typical Yale Graphic design procedure that would be great. The forums are loaded with plenty of information, but all of this is generally directed toward the painting/printmaking program.
