Thanks, I also was offered a phone interview today for a research tech position, so it wasn't all bad!

Just got an official rejection from Einstein through email.

Still waiting to get that first interview invite, but someone gave a talk on DAF-16 regulation in C. elegans at my university and referenced the paper I co-authored! Even used the specific data I contributed! Yay, I (somewhat) matter!

Well, it's not certain, I'm only speaking from my application and you still could get a skype interview. I'd try calling the coordinator tomorrow to confirm.

I had been in consistent contact with the coordinator, and they let me know that the committee had rejected my application but official notices would be sent in mid march. They don't have any interview spots left, aside from a small handful of skype interviews, sorry for the bad news.

If you call them they can tell you about your status.

They're not other schools, just fellowships for funding PhD's wherever I go for graduate school.

Also should i mention that I'm still waiting to hear back from NSF and NDSEG fellowships?

I just called Salvatore, and apparently I'm on a "hold" for an interview for March if either enough people decline interviews or if they decide to add one for me. O_______________________O

I called Marleen in PhD Admissions and she said the committee is still looking over some applications, so yeah, still a chance! I did too, lol
